Getting Somewhere

Rebuilt the the swingarm and got that sucker back on.
When I get the shocks mounted I can decide if the
frontend needs to be lowered.
I'm headed out today to get someone to turn down the
shock studs from the round swingarm so I can run the
1/2" bushings as found on the later model shocks.
I'm gonna start out with 12.5" shocks and see if that
rubs. The next step will be to mount the rear fender,
I'm going to use the front fender that came
on the bike for the rear fits just right. I just need
to cut the middle out and weld it back together.

Econoline on Steroids

I'm not sure how to post video yet but click on this link HERE
see a bad ass econoline van on air bags bouncing around!
I love it when he lifts the front end up the wheels come
off the ground!

High Mids

Put a 21" front wheel on. It makes the 18" rear look more
at home on the bike. I have the rear off right now to
rebuild the swingarm bearings. It should look like
a bike soon!
Here are a few pics of how the kick shifter and pegs are
coming along. I might make yet another shifter to bring
it up a little higher. Then I'm going to cut it shorter and
thread the end for a knob of some sort.

Frisco mounted foot pegs

I drew up some patterns to make a bracket for the foot peg mounts
and the kick shifter, after I finished the piece for the shifter I found
I'm going to have to make another with less of an angle.

Here is the bracket welded to the cross bar
the pegs are just loosely fit in this shot.
Some shots of it lined up before I tacked it in place.
the two pieces I used to mount the foot pegs are brake side
mid control pieces and the pegs were actually the passenger pegs
I removed earlier.
