Shovel Project

Before and after I tore it down.

Shovel Project

I made this bracket to hold the Capacitor up under the
tank. I wrapped it in a piece of rubber and it is held in
with a zip tie. I plan to ground it on one of the mounting
bolts. I also drilled several holes in the bottom
so any moisture would drain.

Custom BMX seat!

Johnny and I put together this seat
from some tuck and roll I sewed up for his Bmx.
Now all the hipsters are going to have to get
vintage Bates seats for their fixed gear bikes.

Clock I made awhile back

I made this for a design contest that was
They make some really cool stuff,
most of the stuff they make is named
after old skaters. I thought I should of
won but I got beat by a total ringer
with a wall mount clock that was
done well and similar in design to mine.

Nice paint

I'm really liking the paint scheme on these two
bikes the top one is from Love Cycles I believe
and the bottom might be Max Schaaf but I'm not sure.

Split tank

I really like the GMA tank thats on my bike now but,
I started making this split sporty tank and its coming out so well
that I may have to use it!

Shovelhead build coming along!

Ive mostly been getting little things done on the
Shovel like lowering the forks, finding cables,
spacing the front wheel, making a kickstand stop and
exhaust mounts.
A tail light I made from an old oil gauge.

I decide the pipes were too boring so,
I decided to kick them up on the ends
and add some evo flanges as tips.

A little progress on the rotocaster

Fender Struts

I thought to long about this and then
just kept it simple.
New seat with a Biltwell hinge and the
fender supports sticking out the side.

Seat progress?

Pulled some foam out of an old seat
and salvaged enough for the seat.
I even sewed up some tuck and roll for it.
Then I decided to use a seat I already had,
I'm gonna finish it but the other seat
has a simpler look.

Seat pan

Finished making this seat pan
through some paint on it to prevent rust
now I can get to covering it.
I ended up welding a few supports to the back side
to stiffen it up a bit and made a clip to attach to the frame.

Building a Rotocaster!

Found this motor at a local surplus store,
Found some gearing and chain, still need
a few more gears to slow the 6 rpm
motor down to 3-4 rpms.
My welding is improving,
I'm happy with at least 50% of these.
Got the base started a done after work today.

Exhaust is Exhausting

I started anew with the rear pipe because the first one
I made was, well, kinda crappy and it really took away from
a much better effort on the from pipe. I guess at least
I have the ability to notice when I jacked something up
and correct my mistakes. The new one flows much better,
fills in the space between the oil bag and trans better and
compliments the front pipe better.
this weekend I'm tackling the exhaust mounts, relocating
the regulator, and finishing the seat pan mounts.
I really cant wait to start stitching the seat, four
semesters of industrial sewing in Pat Fushimi's
class in high school will hopefully come back to me, and
prove useful!
